I ventured out today and tried a new recipe via http://www.sixsistersstuff.com! It turned out delicious!! I will definitely make this again.
The one variation I made was to use one of my grill baskets and cook the sliced peppers and onions on my BBQ. I have two baskets; one is sloped with high sides and one is flat. I used the flat one so that the sliced veggies would get a slight char on them as they cooked. After slicing them I tossed them in a bowl with some EVOL and salt/pepper. I sprayed the veggie basket with PAM and then spread the veggies on it and placed in the grill. Super easy…but you could totally just saute them on the stove and I’m sure it would turn out great, too.
Enjoy!!

Slow Cooker Chili’s Steak Fajitas Recipe:
Ingredients:1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
2 cups water
1 onion
1 green pepper
1 small can (4 oz) diced green chilis
Soft tortillas
Cheese
Salsa
Guacamole
Sour Cream
Corn
Tomatoes
Directions:Cut sirloin steak into bite-size pieces. Place steak in slow cooker with chiles, soup mix, and water and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours. Slice onion and green pepper into strips and saute in olive oil. Take meat out of crockpot (I use a slotted spoon) and place meat, onions, green peppers, and whatever other toppings you like on your fajita (I listed what we put on them, but you can use whatever you like).
